Hello, Poison Ivy House People! (Better name ideas are SO welcome. Please help.)
Friday posts remain the norm, but I’m making an exception today as I want to tell you some exciting news.
Flames of Indigo is now available in e-book!
If you read the serial version, which lasted a little over three months, you can now find Indy’s story in one place. If you are new, you get to read it without having to wait!
Let me tell you a little about Flames of Indigo.
Indy returns to her unusual hometown of Idlebelle, taking on huge responsibilities at her family's farm while dealing with a break-up and trying to make sense of her father's sudden death. Friendships, old and new, human and magical, pose more challenges. As she discovers family secrets and something dangerous lurking, Indy embraces her own powers to save everyone she loves, finally realizing she's stronger than she ever imagined.
Indy’s story offers humor, warmth, and a town filled with everyday magic and not-so-everyday people. You’ll meet Indy, her mother Hedira, Gramma Bestara, Indy’s friends Lyric, Rowan, Alex, and Mace, and other surprising beings.
Flames of Indigo is a story for teens and adults. It’s a contemporary fantasy with elements of magical realism. Some retailers stuff that in the sci-fi and fantasy category, which is frustrating. We’ll see what happens.
I am awaiting my author’s print proof and will let you know when a paperback version is ready, for those who prefer it.
The e-book is available at a bunch of retailers for $2.99. Click the button below for purchase options. As always, reviews are much appreciated!
I will update the link as more stores are added.
Thanks so much for coming along on my writing adventures. I’m glad you are here!
The little town of Idlebelle has more stories to tell us.
Thanks for stopping by—it’s good to see you again,
Lyndsey
PS- If you like your stories darker, check out my short story collection, Well Water and other odd tales. (There’s even a couple of funny stories thrown in to mix it up.)
Well done, Lyndsey!
Congratulations, Lyndsey! I really enjoyed the serialisation. Will buy so I can reread in one go.
